What Toolbox² does with your data

Images and videos you upload or generate are stored privately and are visible only to your own account. They are not published, sold, or used to train any model. Deleting an output removes the file from storage.

We use a Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to find out whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram lead to people actually using the app. The recipient of this data is Meta Platforms. The purposes are measurement of adverts and optimisation of who sees them.

What Meta receives:

• the page you were on, and roughly when;
• a Meta advertising cookie identifier, set by the pixel;
• once you have accepted, a coded reference to your account when you finish your first generation — a one-way hash of an internal id, not your name, email or any file.

Nothing above is sent before your country has been checked, and nothing is sent at all if you reject. Rejecting changes nothing about how the app works.

Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland see a notice and choose for themselves. Elsewhere the pixel runs without a notice, and you can still switch it off.

Every decision is recorded with the time it was made, the wording you were shown, and the country you were in — so we can show our work. Records are append-only: withdrawing a choice adds a new record rather than rewriting the old one.

Change your mind any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice applies immediately in this browser and in any other tab you have open.

Card details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep your billing country and the receipt of what you bought, for tax and accounting.

We keep a small record of which parts of the app are used — boards opened, images uploaded, generations started and finished — so we know what to fix while the app is in beta. This stays inside our own backend and is not shared with advertising platforms.

Write to hello@gelatindigital.com to ask for a copy of your data, or to have it deleted. Deleting your account removes your files, outputs and records.
